Tauren Wells’s “God’s Not Done With You” speaks to every believer who has felt disqualified by failure or weighed down by regret. The song’s reminder—“God’s not done writing your story”—echoes through the valleys of disappointment, proclaiming that grace still has the final word. Many people see only the ashes of what once was, yet Scripture reveals that God is a Redeemer who brings beauty from brokenness. When life feels like ruins, He is still the Master Builder, reconstructing hope from what seemed beyond repair. Nothing disqualifies the believer whom Christ has redeemed.
The Bible is full of people who thought their story was over. Moses fled in shame after killing a man, Peter wept bitterly after denying Jesus, and Paul once persecuted the very church he would later build. But in every case, God was not finished. Each was restored, renewed, and re‑commissioned. The same God who spoke order into chaos continues to work in the lives of His children today. He uses scars as testimonies and failures as foundations for future faithfulness. Even the hardest seasons are not detours—they’re chapters of transformation.
So when the enemy whispers that you are done, remember Philippians 1:6: “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion.” The Author of salvation does not abandon His drafts; He finishes them in glory. God is still writing your story, still shaping your heart, still redeeming your journey. Don’t hide from His process—trust it. The same hands that formed you in the beginning are faithfully crafting the ending for His glory.
PRAYER
Father, thank You that Your plans for me are not finished. Restore my hope where I’ve felt defeated, and remind me that Your grace always writes a better ending.
