AGAIN AND AGAIN
(Inspired by “I’ve Witnessed It” performed by Passion)
Passion’s “I’ve Witnessed It” reminds believers that worship is not a theory—it’s a testimony. Each lyric proclaims the reality of God’s faithfulness: “You were good, and You’re good right now.” This truth moves worship from memory to mission. Faith grows stronger when Christians remember what God has already done. Every answered prayer, every moment of grace, every quiet assurance of His presence adds another layer of trust in the heart.
Psalm 40:5 declares, “Many, Lord my God, are the wonders you have done… none can compare with you.” The psalmist doesn’t just admire God’s works—he recounts them. When believers speak of what they have witnessed, faith multiplies. Stories of deliverance and mercy remind others that the God who saved yesterday still saves today. To witness is more than to observe—it is to declare the evidence of His goodness with confidence that He will do it again.
This song calls the Church to be a chorus of witnesses. Our culture is saturated with skepticism, but testimony breaks through the noise. When followers of Christ share what they’ve personally experienced of His love, power, and redemption, the gospel becomes tangible. God’s people have always been storytellers—proclaiming to families, cities, and nations that Jesus is alive and active. As the lyrics proclaim, we have “stories to tell,” and the world needs to hear them.
