SIMPLE OBEDIENCE

In “Love God Love People,” Danny Gokey captures what Jesus declared as the essence of all God’s commands—loving Him with our whole heart and loving others as ourselves. The world often pushes busyness as a badge of worth. We chase perfection, performance, and approval, only to end up drained. Yet Jesus called His followers to something radically different: “My yoke is easy and My burden is light” (Matthew 11:30). It’s not about doing more—it’s about becoming more like Christ. Every act of kindness, forgiveness, and faithfulness becomes an offering of worship that reveals God’s heart to the world.
PRAYER
Lord, thank You for reminding me that following You is not about perfection but love. Teach me to love You wholeheartedly and to extend that love to others in every word and action.
