ROAR OF THE REDEEMER
(Inspired by “Lion” performed by Elevation Worship)
The song “Lion” thunders with the declaration of Christ’s dual nature — the Lamb who was slain and the Lion who reigns. Each lyric calls believers to behold the majesty and might of Jesus, the Lion of Judah, who roars in victory and justice. “Hail, hail, Lion of Judah, let the Lion roar.” This anthem is not only a song of worship but a prophetic call to recognize that the King is coming again, and His voice still shakes the heavens.
In Revelation 5, John weeps because no one is found worthy to open the scroll, until an elder says, “See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed.” (Revelation 5:5). The Lion represents Jesus’ sovereign power — He alone is worthy to execute God’s redemptive plan. Yet when John looks, he sees not a lion but a lamb. The victorious roar of the Lion flows from the sacrifice of the Lamb. What the world views as weakness, God reveals as unstoppable strength.
For believers today, this truth anchors our courage. When life’s pressures roar against faith, remember that the Lion still reigns. His authority silences fear, His power redeems what’s broken, and His return is certain. Each act of faith, each word of truth, and each step of obedience prepares the way of the Lord — just as the song proclaims, “Prepare the way.”
Jesus is both fierce in justice and gentle in mercy. He is the Lion who defends and the Lamb who saves. Our calling is to lift our voices with boldness, to roar with faith into a culture that often whispers compromise. The Lion of Judah has triumphed — and His people carry His roar.
PRAYER
Lord Jesus, thank You for being both Lion and Lamb — mighty in power, merciful in love. Help me live courageously in Your authority and prepare the way for Your return.

Let your confidence today reflect the victory of Christ — speak His truth with strength and love wherever you go.
