(Inspired by “Made A Way” performed by Travis Greene)
The song “Made A Way” celebrates God’s miraculous power to deliver His people when circumstances seem impossible. “You move mountains, You cause walls to fall.” These lyrics remind believers that the same God who parted the Red Sea and raised Jesus from the dead is still working in power today.
Life often presents situations where hope feels lost. Finances may collapse, relationships may break, or health may decline. Yet even when backs are against the wall, God proves faithful. His strength is not limited by human weakness, and His timing is perfect.
Isaiah 43:16–17 captures this reality: “This is what the Lord says—he who made a way through the sea, a path through the mighty waters, who drew out the chariots and horses, the army and reinforcements together, and they lay there, never to rise again, extinguished, snuffed out like a wick.” The God who made a way for Israel through the sea is the same God making a way for His people today.
Faith is strengthened not only by remembering past deliverance but also by anticipating God’s future provision. Trust grows when believers recall His track record of faithfulness and declare gratitude for what He has already done. Gratitude becomes the soil where faith flourishes.
“Made A Way” becomes a declaration of confidence. Mountains move, chains break, and giants fall—not because of human strength, but because of God’s power. The testimony of every believer is that they are “standing here only because He made a way.”
PRAYER
Lord, thank You for making a way when there seemed to be none. Strengthen my faith to trust Your power and to give You glory in every circumstance.
APPLICATION
Recall one situation in your past where God made a way for you. Share that testimony with someone today as encouragement of His power and faithfulness.
